“Revitalisation of the Tourism Sector in Adıyaman” Project which is conducted by the Republic of Turkey Governorship of Adıyaman under the Competitive Sectors Program that is co-financed by the European Union and the Republic of Turkey and implemented by the Ministry of Industry and Technology, aims to contribute to the social and economic development of Adıyaman by improving the competitiveness of the tourism sector of the region.

Within the scope of the project, the historical and cultural sites of the region, local cuisine, trekking paths, camping sites, souvenirs, eco-tourism and alternative tourism opportunities are determined and developed by the leading experts in their fields; thus it is planned to make Adıyaman a destination brand with all its tourism values and to promote it in the national – international markets.
